Bill Estimator

Welcome to the City of Eureka Bill Estimator. The purpose of this tool is to help you determine how proposed changes to water and sewer rates could affect you. To see what your typical monthly bill could look like over the next five years, please follow these steps:

1. Select your customer type for both water and sewer.
• Customer types vary by whether you are located inside or outside the city limits of Eureka. To determine if you are inside or outside the City, you can enter your address here. Colored areas are within the City limits.
• If you live in anything other than a single family home, your water customer type is most likely Multi-Family
• For commercial customers, sewer class is determined by the strength of the effluent stream going into the sewer (see note below)*
2. Find and enter the usage amount from your last utility bill as shown in the red circled area. (You may want to look at both a summer and winter bill if your usage fluctuates seasonally due to irrigation)
3. Enter your water meter size. (Most residences are 5/8”)

*Note For Commercial Customers: To determine your water meter size and sewer classification, you can look up your account by name, address or account number as shown on your bill using this list which is organized by account number. You can also use CNTRL+F to search for your account.
